The Kivachain (Fiona) development team won the second prize of the AIoT & Smart Cities 2019 competition

The AIoT & Smart Cities 2019 contest with the theme “Smart for better life” officially ended with the victory of nine teams with unique ideas and high applications.

On October 11, 2019, the AIoT & Smart Cities 2019 Contest was for the first time organized by Quang Trung Software Business Incubator (QTSC Incubator), with the sponsorship of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City, the The support from Ho Chi Minh City Informatics Association (HCA), Bosch Technology Group, Vietnam Informatics Association (VAIP) and Quang Trung Software Park (QTSC) have officially selected 11 excellent teams out of 75 project groups / The idea revolves around the topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things connected (IoT) in Vietnam to enter the final round.

In addition to searching for new ideas, the contest also aims to solve specific problems of each enterprise, organized according to orders. Organizations, businesses based on the need to improve, perfect technology, products or want to optimize the exploitation of data resources, increase the ability to market / promote / take care of customers … all have can give topics / orders to find the best solution.

Outstanding over 75 competing teams, 9 projects won the highest awards in the first season of the AIoT & Smart Cities 2019 competition.

Team Fiona won the second prize and was one of the three teams honored to receive the Angel Award of Robert Bosch Technology Group.

Specifically include:

  • 5 teams reached second place.
  • 2 teams won the third prize.
  • 3 first place winners (each group)

All winning ideas will be reviewed for incubation from six months to two years as well as support for registration to attend the SpeedUp program of the Department of Science and Technology, seeking more angel investors … not just giving away award, receive the prize and then close the idea.
